Duties

Help

  1. Provides information and service to authorized patrons concerning facility and assigned recreation activity.
  2. Maintains records/reports of equipment and inventory. Reports any damage or required repairs to supervisor.
  3. May operate a cash register, receive payments and make change. Completes daily activity reports (DAR) and ensures proper deposit of cash receipts.
  4. Performs housekeeping tasks to ensure proper appearance, cleanliness and safety of assigned area.
  5. Ensures adherence to regulations and safety procedures. Monitors and checks the security of premises. Follows established shut down and lock up procedures.
  6. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background Investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
  • Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

  • Six months experience in recreation or service-oriented activity is desired.
  • Ability to maintain records and reports.
  • Ability to handle and safeguard cash.
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance of equipment.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Must be able to learn MWR policies, rules and regulations.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid CPR Card and First Aid Card within 60 days of employment.
