As a/an Information Technology Specialist (APPSW/DATAMGT), you will:
- Perform e-discovery and SharePoint program management oversight; provides technical expertise in evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the programs and applies new ideas and solutions to previously unsolvable problems.
- Provide expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management and other IT technical specialists on critical IT issues regarding SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and e-discovery programs.
- Coordinate short- and long-range plans and objectives related to the SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and e-discovery systems, advising OSR leadership on decision implication and impact on program utilization and plans for new IT developments and applications in conjunction with SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and the e-discovery tools.
- Adapt, modify, and/or refines guidelines to resolve specific complex and/or intricate SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and e-discovery issues and problems.
- Prepare and present briefings to senior management officials on complex SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and e-discovery issues. Makes authoritative recommendations on OSR resource management and allocation to senior management based on study findings, with a significant portion of the organization's budget involved. Persuades officials to accept and implement policies and regulations to resolve such issues.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience for this GS-14 position is one year of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position which has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes:
- Managing day-to-day administration of OSRs SharePoint sites and e-discovery systems; AND
- Utilizing an electronic discovery (e-discovery) software package to process and analyze data; AND
- Developing and deploying custom web parts and workflows; AND
- Evaluating, reviewing, and making recommendations on SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and e-discovery program use, including changes in response to new or emerging technologies; AND
- Applying IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices in devising projects and plans.

In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.
