Travel: Some travel is required. Travel is typically local; however, some overnight travel may be required. Mobile auditor positions may require extensive travel (50% - 75%) between contractor locations. Government vehicles are not provided for use by DCAA mobile auditors.
Mobility Agreement: Assignment changes are an inherent part of career development and training for these positions. Auditors may rotate within commuting areas where sufficiently diverse work assignments are available.
Financial Management Certification: Selectees must meet the requirements of the DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification Program. The FM Certification Program is a course-based program consisting of three certification levels. Level 2 certification must normally be completed within two years of the selectee's employment start date.
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Certification (DAWIA): You must have achieved DAWIA certification in Program Management or alternatively, you must have the ability to obtain the required certification for this position within 24 months of appointment.
Salary: The salaries noted in this announcement are the base salary and locality pay for the Rest of U.S. pay schedule at the GS-07, step 01 and the GS-11, step 10 levels.
