Duties

Help
  • Serve as a senior Program Analyst in analyzing and executing actions pertaining to project office operations management such as civilian personnel/manpower management.
  • Formulate short and long-range strategic personnel planning and determines policy guidance to be developed and disseminated to the Project Office.
  • Responsible for overall administration of protocol, public affairs, DA training programs and Acquisition Training programs, honorary and monetary awards programs, safety, SHARP, and EEO programs.
  • Take action to correct noted deficiencies to improve overall operations in the areas of management/administration and facilities.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent of the position must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 upon entering the position and annually thereafter, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 17-Nov-2011.
  • This position is a designated "Key" position and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization.
  • Incumbent may be expected to travel up to 10% of the time for this position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13). One year of specialized experience which includes executing actions pertaining to operations management and civilian personnel manpower management. Conducting various personnel management studies to determine the most efficient office structure. Creating policy for administrative, facility and personnel functional areas and carrying out in-depth analysis of policy and direct impact on program requirements.
