Duties

  • Applies pertinent laws and governing regulations, their application and enforcement; production practices employed in the industry; and the means for evaluating and securing compliance with legal requirements.
  • Develops and coordinates networks and contacts beneficial to the successful performance of his/her assignments.
  • Interacts with colleagues and supervisors, demonstrating the ability to work cooperatively with other persons.
  • Reviews pertinent regulations and style manuals governing written communications in order to prepare written materials which effectively communicate the intended information.
  • Assists in the preparation of, or prepares, presentations related to work assignments.

Qualifications

Specialized experience,
One year of specialized experience which includes providing: (a) financial management operations services (preparation, examination, analysis, presentation, and interpretation of data, records, and reports), management advice, and assistance; and (b) financial management system services (plan, design, test, analyze, implement, and maintain applicable financial and reporting systems).Selective placement Factor(optional)

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience relevant to the position's duties to be filled, including volunteer experience.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following candidate eligibility requirements:

GS-7 - Completing 1 full academic year of graduate-level education, or Eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement* Provision and completing a bachelor's degree.
GS-9 - Completion of 2 academic years of graduate-level education, a master's degree, or equivalent graduate degree.
