Duties

Help

Responsible for the development of all sales and advertising activities in the assigned market using customer-focused consultative selling process. Provide client-need based account management to maximize client/agency results and revenue growth.

Sells Army MWR media assets to clients by providing value through digital signage, web and traditional media channels. Develops proposals, meets and presents to clients; maintains a database of active accounts and revenue forecasts. Works closely with internal teams to develop integrated advertising programs. Negotiates pricing and placement for sales campaigns. Requires consistent achievement of sales goals and active management of/prospecting for new clients.


** Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 30 August 1993.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.

Demonstrated experience directly related to the duties to be performed such as, but not limited to: Developing proposals, meeting and presenting to clients, negotiating pricing and placement for sales campaigns, maintaining a database of active accounts and revenue forecasts, developing advertising programs, selling media assets to clients, managing and maintaining sales automation processes.

Demonstrated knowledge of commercial sponsorship practices and advertising theory.
