Drives various types of automobiles from sedans to passenger vans and trucks weighing up to 10,000 pounds to transport personnel, supplies, and materials throughout the installation, public roads, and city streets in all types of traffic conditions.
Assists with loading and unloading cargo and materials.
Ensures vehicle is not loaded beyond the rated capacity by checking cargo papers and by visual observation.
Completes trip tickets and preventive maintenance service records. Performs driver's maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations.
Fills out driver's accident report in case of accident.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Completed and signed DA Form 3433 (dated Aug 2019) is required prior to entrance on duty.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
The appropriate driver?s license must be valid and current.
Incumbent will be subject to a pre-employment physical.
This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) as required by Army Regulation 600-85. A negative drug test is required prior to appointment for a TDP. Incumbent will be subject to subsequent random drug test as required.
