Help
  • Develops and evaluates strategies for the adoption of government-wide standards, including accessibility requirements, for digital services across citizen and business-facing government services.
  • Assess the state of digital services provided by ONRR and its partners, recommend strategies and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of these services, and conferring with government/private officials and experts in the field.
  • Demonstrate innovative thought and researching and contributing best practices in a variety of technologies and principles.
  • Promote enhanced public awareness of ONRR's public websites (Natural Resources Revenue Data at revenuedata.doi.gov and onrr.gov) and understanding of natural resources extractive industries and associated revenue management.
  • Analyze the technical and policy requirements needed to implement recommended digital solutions.

Qualifications

At the GS-13level, you must meet the following qualification:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes but is not limited to: Experience with modern website management practices such as Agile development and user-centered design; working with a multi-disciplinary team to identify user needs and collaboratively design and implement solutions; knowledge on government wide standards for digital services including accessibility requirements, skill in communicating, both in writing and orally, with a variety of audiences to obtain and present information.

Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.

TIME-IN-GRADE: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).

A written test is not required.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Telework Suitability:
