Duties

Help

As an PROGRAM ANALYST, you will:

- Inspect, evaluate and analyze, either alone or as the team leader, agency security classification and other information security regulations, policies and practices in order to determine the degree of agency compliance with Executive Order 13526, Executive Order 12829, Executive Order 13556, ISOO directives, and applicable agency regulations.

- Represent the Director or Associate Directors in meetings and contacts with the senior agency official designated by the head of the agency as responsible for the program for the purpose of discussing the agency's program in detail or any findings of oversight activities and to make recommendations for corrective action.

- Review and process appeals or complaints from the public regarding the administration of the program in assigned agencies and develop and make recommendations regarding these complaints.

- Coordinate the development and issuance of bylaws or charters that establish the procedures that several federal advisory committee act (FACA) committees will follow in fulfilling responsibilities set out in executive order and in legislation; plan, develop and coordinate all meetings held by these entities, including working with the Chairs and the members to determine agendas and administrative requirements; and plan, develop and maintain a system that ensures all actions taken by either entity are carried to fruition.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes:

-Analyzing results and developing recommendations to senior management

AND

-Evaluating industrial/information security programs, regulations or policies (such as: classifying, safeguarding, declassifying classified national security information).
