Duties

Help

As a GS-0341-15 Administrative Officer, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Directing management and planning activities in four areas of expertise; clinical care, patient support, information and imaging systems, and the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Coordinating plans for the renovation and alterations of space and facilities.
  • Providing technical supervision and training to administrative officers and administrative technicians in the areas of administrative management, budget, personnel management and the management of the acquisition process.
  • Developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising on, and improving the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations, manpower utilization and distribution of work assignments.

Qualifications

You qualify at the GS-15 level, if you meet one of the following qualification requirements:

You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: Managing or directing major components of programs that perform professional, technical or administrative work; providing strategic and business advice to senior level officials on a wide range of complex policy or program matters involving significant or controversial issues; developing and implementing administrative policies, procedures, or initiatives to meet organizational needs and accomplish program objectives. Program areas include financial management, management analysis, human resources management, information technology and support, acquisitions management, ethics, and/or general administrative support such as space management, internal controls, travel services, and/or property accountability.
