Duties

Help
  • You will prepare a variety of documents, including memorandums, letters, emails, reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • You will review correspondence prepared by others for content, correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and appropriate format.
  • You will perform a variety of administrative support duties: making travel arrangements, receive telephone calls and visitors, administrative facility responsibilities, and order office supplies
  • You will maintain the Department Head and Deputy's calendar, schedule appointments and meetings, track all NMCI assets and general equipment, and ensure facility issues are tracked and resolved.
  • You will be the Records Management Liaison for the department, establishing, monitoring, and improving clerical and administrative processes within the department, including digital filing of records.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NG-02 (GS-05/06 equivalency) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing executive-level administrative/clerical support functions in an corporate business office setting (e.g., 1- Preparing and editing correspondence by use of office automation software systems; 2- Utilizing an automated timekeeping tracking system; and 3- Assisting with automated travel system services for official business travel)
