Qualifications

Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level that is in or directly related to this line of work AND fluency in English and Pashto languages that demonstrates ability to write, report, interview and announce broadcasts in both languages.

Applicants' resume MUST reflect the following experience in order to qualify:
- Produce and edit video programs from pre-production (storyboarding ideas, scripts, etc.) to post- production.
- Broad knowledge and comprehension of Afghan and South Asia history and culture, and awareness of political, economic, and social developments.
- Ability to separate factual material from opinion or commentary and to use each appropriately in crafting programs.
- Skill in acquiring, analyzing and comprehending information on extremely varied issues, topics, or events.
