Help
  • You will provide financial oversight and support to a division and work with department lead and other division budget financial managers (BFM) to act as Comptroller's point of contact for financial information and data calls.
  • You will provide advice and guidance to management officials and project managers on all aspects of budget development, budget execution, financial management, and financial transactions.
  • You will assist the division director in developing cost performance metrics and measures for the department head.
  • You will provide financial review of department and division procurement actions.
  • You will review labor performance and recommend labor cost transfers, correction of labor rejects, and other financial actions to management officials.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system to conduct qualitative/quantitative analysis or develop solutions and advise on financial issues and budget performance to ensure effectiveness of government programs.

This position is equivalent to the GS-11/12 level. The full performance level is equivalent to the GS-11/12 level.

This position is eligible for part time, substantial, or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
