As a Senior SF Housing Spec (QAD), you will:
- Act as HUD expert and advisor on the lender origination and servicing practices required for compliance with Title I and Title II, Fair Housing and RESPA.
- Employ judgment and initiative in the selection and interpretation of statutory, regulatory, handbook and other requirements that are applicable to the risk management function.
- Exercise judgment in interpreting and applying guidelines in responding to and solving problems and dealing with controversial issues.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

To be qualified for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is defined as:

- Performing compliance monitoring through the evaluation of risk assessment of Federal Housing Administration Single-Family mortgage loans; AND
- As a member of a team or panel, providing recommendations on the loan origination or servicing practices required for compliance with Title I and Title II, Fair Housing and RESPA (Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act); AND
- Applying Federal Housing Administration compliance requirements on items, such as; credit reports, asset documents and appraisals; AND
- Recommending policy changes regarding risk for lending policies.

Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Pay will be determined based on the duty location of the position. Employees will receive the locality rate associated with the location of their home worksite.

This is a 100% telework position, in which you may reside and work at a location within the Region of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, American Samoa, Guam and Northern Mariana Islands.
