This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
Must obtain passport New Agent course certification within 180 days of employment and complete refresher course every 2 years.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
This is a Term position scheduled to last 13 months. A term position may be extended to a maximum of eight years depending upon the needs of management.
This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To Qualify for the GS-06 Level: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with calendar/scheduling management, tracking task due dates and researching regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
OR
Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration. You must attached a copy of your transcripts.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
To Qualify for the GS-07 Level: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes advising on travel entitlements at government expense, reviewing government travel documents for accuracy and entering and retrieving government travel data in an automated database. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this level (GS-07), you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
