Summary

SSA is looking for a Program Analyst in the Office of Program Integrity (OPI), which provides centralized oversight of and accountability for the agency's anti-fraud and improper payments initiatives. OPI provides leadership and direction to SSA's anti-fraud framework, leads a comprehensive approach to agency fraud prevention, and aligns anti-fraud efforts with industry standards and develops, coordinates, evaluates, and communicates agency-wide improper payments strategies.

Duties

Help
  • Develops, reviews, and evaluates program performance management information.
  • Establishes common performance and outcome-based goals and continuously monitors program integrity initiatives.
  • Researches material, gathers background, and prepares performance reports and information that are presented to top-level management, Congressional committees, OIG, and other pertinent organizations and agencies.
  • Designs, develops, and implements anti-fraud training and awareness program to ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities to combat fraud, waste, and abuse in agency programs.

To qualify for this GS-13 position, the applicant must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at or equivalent to the Federal GS-12 level (or above) that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience must include:
A) developing graphic visualizations for projects, reports, or briefing materials; and
B) developing informational materials and messaging for internal and external audiences.

This specialized experience is REQUIRED and must be explicitly documented/described in your resume or you will be disqualified from further consideration. Please describe duties you perform (not just knowledge, skills and abilities) as they relate to the specialized experience required for this position. The experience must be for at least one year and at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent. Document this clearly in your résumé.

Therefore, to the extent a Federal job announcement includes the requirement that applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 pursuant to Executive Order 14043, that requirement does not currently apply. Federal agencies may request information regarding the vaccination status of selected applicants for the purposes of implementing other workplace safety protocols, such as protocols related to masking, physical distancing, testing, travel, and quarantine.
