The incumbent of this position serves as the Assistant Inspector General for Evaluations and Special Projects (AIGES), reporting to and under the general supervision of the Deputy Inspector General (DIG). The incumbent is responsible for leading, directing, and monitoring an interdisciplinary - and in some cases, matrixed - team of criminal investigators, attorneys, administrative investigators, and professional, technical, and administrative support staff ranging in grades from GS-5 thru GS-15. The incumbent is also responsible for planning, directing, overseeing, and conducting an inspection and evaluation program to review, assess, and evaluate the management, efficiency, and effectiveness of complex Bank programs, operations, and policies, and to develop recommendations for improving program performance, effectiveness, and efficiency.
At the full performance level, duties include, but are not limited to:
Evaluate Bank programs to assess vulnerabilities, provide analyses, and evaluate programs, policies and systems
