Conducts systems analyses for SSA?s programmatic, administrative and MI systems.
This includes analyzing system needs as it relates to customer/user experience, discovery, software design, user accessibility, IT planning, IT investments, and/or IT project governance and quality assurance.
Provides guidance to Systems components on the development of improved and continuing project management, software development and systems engineering practices.
Conducts analyses and studies for defining data, workflow and inter-relationships among organizational and systems components.
Develops methods, procedures and supplemental instructions for inclusion in system user manuals and training material.

In addition, to qualify for thisGS-12level position, applicants must possess and demonstrate 52 weeks of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level (or above) in the federal service that is in or related to the work of the position filled and has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Qualifying IT-related experience must include providing technical analysis and requirements for software applications within the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or Agile Lifecycle and experience writing user stories, Detailed Functional Requirements, Detailed Systems Specifications, use cases, data mapping requirements, database schema, user guides/manuals, or training guides to document functional systems requirements and specifications for software development projects.
This specialized experience is REQUIRED and must be explicitly documented/described in your resume or you will be disqualified from further consideration.
