Duties

Help

As a Records and Information Management Specialist, you will:

  • Maintain conformance to the rules, regulations, and policies of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and General Services Administration (GSA) for all records maintained by the WTCHP.
  • Responsible for control, security, accessibility, and integrity of critical program documents.
  • Collect documents from multiple sources and input them into a centralized system while eliminating data duplication and ensuring data integrity.
  • Prepare support documentation and training materials for document management plans.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph.

Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include creating, implementing, and maintaining a health records and information management system that includes the disposition, dissemination, evaluation, and audit of records.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
