The Executive Director reports to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Accountability and Whistleblower Protection and has direct oversight of advisory, analyses and strategic development of OAWP policies and procedures.
Additional duties include but are not limited to the following:
Participates as a member of OAWP's senior leadership with responsibility to assist in execution of OAWP's strategy and goals to meet its mission, and participation and assistance involving key issues that affect OAWP.
Oversees and leads staff as they establish national-level policy and procedures to implement the Accountability Act.
Drafts or reviews laws, regulations, executive orders, and related documents affecting OAWP investigatory and training
functions.
Represents the Assistant Secretary, or designee, in confidential, sensitive and complex meetings with
employees, media, and Congress by developing and presenting briefings and/or reports.

Once employees are permitted to return to the office, you will be expected to report to the duty station listed on this announcement. Non-competitive applicants do not need to submit ECQ narratives but you must clearly state your status in your resume and submit a written narrative response to the Technical Qualification (s); not more than 2 pages per each TQ with a font size no smaller than 12 points.
