Duties

Help
  • Leads 3 or more employees consisting of a combination of NA-7 Bowling Equipment Repairers, NA-05 Bowling Equipment Workers, and NA-02 Custodial Workers who are assigned to the lane area of the facility.
  • Maintains, adjusts, and repairs a variety of bowling equipment having mechanical, electrical and electronic parts, components and assemblies.
  • Diagnoses equipment malfunctions, and refers to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Follows preventative maintenance schedules and performs routine scheduled maintenance
  • Determines which mechanical assemblies are malfunctioning and decides which parts and mechanisms can be reworked and which should be replaced with new parts.

  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications

The Minimum Qualifications for this position are:

1. Ability to do the work of the position under normal supervision, and demonstrated work experience directly related to the duties and skills described above.

2. Knowledge of bowling equipment assembly, repair, and use of measuring instruments ability to interpret instructions, specification and trouble shoot equipment.

3. Ability to lead employees engaged in technical work related to this position.

This position does not include a positive education requirement.
