A a Student Trainee (Management Analyst), you will perform the following duties:
• Conducts research and analyzes information on a variety NSF's administrative policies and procedures as they pertain to BFA's business activities and develops summaries and recommendations.
• Participates with BFA staff in conducting periodic studies and reviews to evaluate internal policies and operating procedures for efficiency and consistency with BFA and NSF's administrative policies and procedures; and makes recommendation to ensure compliance with BFA and NSF guidance.
• Develops, implements, and reviews revised policies and operational procedures to evaluate effectiveness in supporting substantive BFA administrative objectives and support functions.
• Provides support managing, creating, updating and designing organization SharePoint collaboration pages. Participates in the development of the SharePoint collaboration, as well as the content management.
• Participates in providing recommendations to the development of electronic official records storage structure.
• Participates in the design and development in web applications for internal and external websites in support of the mission of the organization, BFA and the agency.
• Assists in the management BFA’s communications tools per established NSF policy and in collaboration with OLPA and other external offices, as necessary. Creates new content and repurposes content in a format appropriate to each tool.
• Edits documents to ensure accuracy and clarity and correct formatting, grammar, and spelling for select, important BFA written products. Assist in the development and executes targeted strategies and processes to expand and refresh BFA products and messaging that highlights BFA programs for dissemination on BFA websites and other venues and reaches specific audiences including at the state/local/international levels, private sector, universities/researchers, and students/teachers. Proactively identifies and capitalizes on critical opportunities to publicize BFA activities.
