Duties

Help

As a/an Supervisory Loan Guarantee Specialist, you will:

  • Administer staff requirements and procedures, administer work assignments, establish and interpret office policies, facilitate intra-office coordination and manage all administrative support to technical staff within the office.
  • Supervise, monitor and evaluate subordinate positions; facilitate planning, coordination and scheduling for completion of work; manage work assignments to subordinates, evaluate performance, equipment resources, staff training and travel schedules ; and ensure that the agency's administrative procedures meet HUD requirements.
  • Manage OLG personnel actions that include developing crediting plans; implementing the EPPES process; preparing processing award criteria and other personnel matters.
  • Work closely with the Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH) Administrative Services and Management Division to ensure that OLG plans conform to the overall Federal and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Processing and/or underwriting guaranteed loans or traditional mortgage loans (including loan origination, claims and/or servicing).; AND
- Preparing oral and written reports on lending (loan volume, servicing, etc).; AND
- Organizing and leading marketing efforts, including training, to external customers on matters related to mortgage or loan guarantee programs.; AND
- Acting as a team lead, subject matter expert, or other form of technical contact in providing guidance to others regarding mortgage or loan programs.



Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
