AN ONSITE HIRING EVENT WILL BE HELD FOR THIS POSITION ON TUESDAY, 18 OCTOBER 2022 FROM 10:00AM -3:00PM. EVENT IS IN PERSON AT THE "1757 BAR & GRILL" (Located in the CARLISLE BARRACKS GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE, 920 JIM THORPE ROAD, CARLISLE, PA 17013.)

THOSE ATTENDING MUST BRING THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, PHOTO ID, WORK AUTHORIZATION (AGES 14-17) AND PROOF OF EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION. BE PREPARED TO INTERVIEW!

This position is located at the Carlisle Barrack's MWR Bowling Demo Resources Department.

Duties

Help
  • Assist in managing a bowling or family-entertainment bowling facility with food and beverage service.
  • Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuation customer base.
  • Organizes, develops, implements and reviews programming, promotions, and special events to provide a garrison recreational service while maintaining a positive image in local community relations.
  • Coordinates functions and special events with community, and military representatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Satisfactorily completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a Tier 1 background check.

Qualifications

1. Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.
2. Must possess a basic knowledge of bowling and food and beverage service.

This experience and/or education must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.

This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 20 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits. There is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligations and work scheduling requirements).
