Duties

Help

As a Policy & Credit Reform Modeling Analyst, you will:

- Function as a liaison to Office of Financial Management/Department of Treasury in implementing policies and procedures for the administration of credit reform modeling & accounting.
- Function as a liaison to private sector entities outside the government serving as credit modeling & accounting experts.
- Lead and direct the development of models, analyses, and monitoring of performance statistics and cash flows by developing comprehensive models that record historical data and project performance for assigned programs.
- Work closely with custodian and asset manager staff to ensure proper modeling and policies are in place in order to maintain information flow and accurately account for and report on the assets held by the government.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience for the GS-15: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:

- Interpreting the Federal Credit Reform Acts (FCRA) impact and implications on Federal credit programs; AND
- Developing complex models that are in compliance with the FCRA; AND
- Utilizing the Federal budget process and the interaction of the various agencies; AND
- Providing technical guidance and assistance in the analyses and review of financial management and program activities.
