Duties

Help
  • Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager.
  • Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.
  • Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts.
  • Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions.
  • Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Must complete MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service within 6 months of employment
  • Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts.
  • Must be 18 years of age at time of appointment (PROJECTED APPOINTMENT DATE: approximately 2-4 weeks)

Qualifications

Possesses related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above.

Army Installation Management Command

Fort Riley, "Home of the Big Red One" (1st Infantry Division), is known for its excellent training, abundant recreational opportunities, rich history, and tremendous relations with surrounding communities. Fort Riley is in the Central Flint Hills Region of northeastern Kansas, one hour west of Topeka, the state capital, and two and a half hours west of Kansas City. Fort Riley boasts a variety of thriving communities, with the closest being Junction City, Ogden and Manhattan.

Availability requirements for all facilities will be between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm. You must be available during these hours to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts.
