The Northern Service Center Operations Division is responsible for all aspects of facility operations: operating, maintaining and sustaining high quality work environments.
The selected candidate will learn the duties and responsibilities of a GSA Assistant Property Manager which includes exercising full responsibility and authority for the day-to-day operations of a designated building or groups of buildings within the GSA inventory. Examples of duties:

The GS-09 salary range starts at $59,102 per year. Salary is determined by the location for which you are selected.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify for the GS-9 level, you must demonstrate that you meet one of the following:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level of the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience assisting in the management of a commercial office building (or equivalent non-housing high rise building) consisting of building mechanical system (i.e., HVAC, alarm systems, elevators, etc): This experience typically includes:

You must possess a master's or equivalent level degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
You may qualify based on a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
