As a Senior Single Family Housing Specialist (QAD), you will:
Act as a HUD expert and advisor on the lender origination and servicing practices required for compliance with Title I and Title II, Fair Housing, and RESPA.
Employ judgment and initiative in the selection and interpretation of statutory, regulatory, handbook, and other requirements that are applicable to the risk management function.
Exercise judgment in interpreting and applying guidelines in responding to and solving problems and dealing with controversial issues.
Recognize facts and evidence and be able to assemble, correlate, and analyze information obtained in reviews and investigations.
The official duty station for this position will be in Denver, Colorado. Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Performing compliance monitoring through the evaluation of risk assessment of Federal Housing Administration Single-Family mortgage loans; AND
- As a member of a team or panel, providing results of the analysis of a lender's operations and determining if their operations and Quality Control program meets FHA requirements; AND
- Applying Federal Housing Administration compliance requirements on items such as quality control programs, credit reports, asset documents, or appraisals; AND
- Reviewing Lender Self Reports for origination and servicing and determining the correct remedy when material errors are present.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector orvolunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
