Summary

Serving as the customer service point of contact for reporting systems that includes receipt of inquiries from partners.
Providing technical advice on business and program analysis requirements to Stakeholders, grantee community or other interested parties to improve processes.
Serving as the technical expert on reporting systems to answer questions on how information is collected, analyzed, or used for reporting purposes.
Speaking on behalf of an organization when providing technical and administrative expertise and advisory support to top level programs and line managers.
Managing the collection of plans, reports, or projects from an organization?s partners which involves working with and facilitating the submission of information.
Ensuring data quality to prepare accurate reports for upper management for further analysis.
Working with upper management involved in developing plans or support activities for strengthening grant programs.
Preparing summary reports for other reporting and accountability inquiries.
Serving as a technical resource in the development and preparation of implementing policies and regulation.
Preparing briefings to higher level officials concerning programs, organizations, or resources.
Serving as a liaison between organizations to coordinate work assignments, analysis, briefings etc.

Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience must be described for each grade level advertised. The specialized experience requirements for this position are: Qualifying experience for GS-13 includes one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-12 which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is experience assessing and analyzing program information collection or data management techniques that relate to the evaluation of grant-based research, education, or extension programs; developing reports, assessment tools, performance measures, policies, or guidance for program activities; and providing technical and administrative advice for management officials dealing with research, education, or other public and private institutions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
