STEM Student Employment Program (SSEP) is work experience that provides an opportunity for engineering and science students to pursue work that is relevant and beneficial to their academic studies. Assignments are designed to assist employees in developing a basic understanding of specialized practices and procedures and a familiarity with work operations. You will provide assistance to higher level personnel by performing routine and repetitive tasks. The program is an excellent opportunity for students to get an interesting, real-world experience while contributing to the defense of our nation.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications

ND-01 Level: you must be currently enrolled in a high school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED) program, or post-high school educational program.
ND-02 Level: you must have successfully completed 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: Grade Point Average of 2.5 or above.
