As a/an Supervisory Space Management Officer, you will:
Provide expert assistance on major planning problems and helping to formulate efficient, economical space operations and property management policies, criteria, and procedures.
Share in the day-to-day management of administrative space used by OIG HQ and field components of OIG and of government leased or owned buildings.
Evaluate requests for additional space assignments within prescribed limits for permanent staff or ad hoc groups to determine the necessity for and urgency of requests.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Surveying an organization's current and future space requirements. AND
Designing floor plans and layouts for required design intent documents; AND
Analyzing and evaluating data such as location, square footage, floor load capacity, heating, plumbing and ventilation; and recommending architectural and structural modification to meet usage needs; AND
Coordinating schedules for completion of work, assigning work to subordinates, and leading projects.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
