You will represent the organization as a Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation logistics technical expert, on and offsite, both ashore and afloat.
You will chair or attend meetings with contractors, suppliers, users, and repairers to develop overall equipment support plans.
You will use the organization's selected word processing and graphics software in development of maintenance documentation.
You will develop, maintain and manage technical specifications, maintenance plans, provisioning data, repair/maintenance manuals, special packaging instructions and operating procedures.
You will plan, develop, coordinate and integrate logistics support for assigned equipment throughout the equipment's life cycle.
You will read, interpret and determine technical validity of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

This is a bargaining unit position.

Qualifications
FOR NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and interpreting advanced engineering drawings, and developing and editing technical manuals and specifications of equipment or ordnance using word processing tools.
FOR NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and assisting with the development or editing of technical manuals and specifications to support weapon systems.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
