As a IT Specialist (Systems Analysis), GS-2210-12, you will perform a wide variety of duties related to IT systems analysis and IT project management related to new and modernized systems to enable Medicare and Medicaid policy innovation.

Works with policy staff to understand and translate their needs into IT requirements.
Conducts project management and governance processes to control IT projects including project schedule management, release management, and change control procedures.
Engages with policy teams to advise them on how to use existing CMS systems to support new innovation models.

In order to qualify for the GS-12, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:
(1) Performing work in the system development life cycle process (i.e., requirements, design, development, testing, or implementation); AND
(2) Planning or conducting IT projects related to system development or design; AND
(3) Providing guidance to contractors or staff on IT topics (e.g., product choices, technology approaches).
Substitution of Education for Experience: There is no substitution of education to meet the specialized experience requirement at the GS-12 grade level.
