As a Branch Chief Account Executive Team, you will:

  • Manage the efficient and effective coordination of evaluating new developments in the market place that could have a potential impact on the business and to enhance our business practices to adapt to market changes.
  • Serve as a supervisor of the Account Executive Team, with full leadership and administrative authority for the operations of the account executive team, including both goals management and performance management.
  • Perform technical review of work in progress or finished work products of colleagues for accuracy, adequacy, and soundness.
  • Coordinate the physical inspection schedule for purposes of evaluating the physical conditions, maintenance, and security.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience is 1 year of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as leading a team of employees responsible for multifamily housing asset management, including creating and implementing policies and procedures to ensure program success.

Examples of such experience could include:

-Oversight of multifamily housing asset management functions, such as:
multifamily market rate housing; Project Based Section 8, preservation of affordable housing, rental subsidy administration, grant administration, risk management or program compliance; OR
- Consulting with and providing technical assistance to program officials, residents, citizen groups, and Federal, state, or local government officials on a variety of federally assisted multifamily housing or affordable multifamily housing issues.; OR
-Monitoring the progress of a team towards achieving project goals and objectives related to multifamily housing asset management; OR
-Monitoring moderate and high-risk multifamily property portfolios for potential issues and provide recommendations to mitigate risk.

Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.

Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.

Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation.
