This position is located at Carlisle Barracks FMWR'S Letort View Community Center.
Performs "hands-on" supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking and other duties.
Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operations during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House.
Adherence to established schedules of activities and priorities.
Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from waiter's guest checks.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a Tier 1 background investigation and pre-employment medical examination.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
Willingness and availability to work weekends and evenings as scheduled.
Possession of a Food Handler's Certification.
Qualifications
At least one year of experience effectively working in a fast paced, stressful environment casual dining restaurant establishment. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: knowledge, skills, abilities, additional screening criteria and other characteristics.
This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits however, there is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligation and work scheduling requirements).
