This position is located in the Government Accountability Office. As a Director of Domestic Relations, MS-0301-2 your typical work assignments may include the following:
- Maintains appropriate relationships with other associations, government, private sector, non- profit entities, and academic institutions to expand GAO's network, the attainment of its intergovernmental objectives, and promote collaborations and partnerships where appropriate.
- Serves in a supervisory capacity and manages SPEL Executive Directors (EDs) and the SPEL Administrative Program Assistant assigned to forum activities.
- Responsible for the overall operations, financial management, information technology, member services, and Executive Committee development of the IAFs
- Oversees communications through technology including continued improvement of audit forum websites and application of social media; providing leadership by developing effective internal and external public relations both directly and through delegation.
- Provides direct technical assistance and support to GAO audit and evaluation teams and providing policy advice to management and GAO staff by providing insights, information, contacts, and strategies for engagements.
