As a MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SPECIALIST (SENIOR SHAREPOINT & CASE MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATOR), you will:

  • Provide guidance to management and staff on all aspects of SharePoint site collection administration, including performing day-to-day support and improvement of the SharePoint platform.
  • Serve as an expert for the resolution of technical problems; provides recommendations for computer solutions; and working closely with requesters, management, peers, and other technical experts and organizational staff with varying degrees of computer knowledge to recommend, find, and create computer solutions that save resources and meet customer objectives.
  • Make authoritative recommendations on OSR resource management. Assist with case administration and document management.
  • Be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and implementing secure, cost-effective application solutions that best satisfy user needs and that are consistent with VA and OIG guidelines and standards.
  • Develop procedures and strategies that ensure optimization and integration in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint operating environment.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:

  • Developing and deploying custom web parts and workflows (examples may include: web applications, InfoPath, and Nintex workflows); AND
  • Evaluating, reviewing and making recommendations to meet technical specifications and system requirements; AND
  • Assisting with writing program documentation, user training documents, and web-based system contingency plans (examples may include: writing case administration and document management for all OSR cases, as assigned by the Director, Support Services).

Conditions of Employment:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
-Travel nationwide under tight deadlines. The incumbent should anticipate frequent walking and standing as a component of this travel.

- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license from one of the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
