Duties

Help

The following are the duties of this position at the CN-60, broadly equivalent to the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

As a/an Program Analyst, you will:

  • Oversee special projects for the Enforcement Front Office. Monitor the status of investigations, projects, and other deliverables throughout the Office of Enforcement. Bring issues of programmatic compliance and timeliness to management's attention. Develop performance metrics to conduct assessments in response to emerging policy or executive mandates or events. Track internal and external performance metrics and provides technical leadership in that regard for the assessment of organizational performance.
  • Provide technical leadership for the preparation of written materials and data compilation for various internal and external performance reviews and requested updates generated by the Office of Enforcement. Personally prepare or direct the preparation of documents including with preparation of the annual CFPB Strategic Plan, Budget, and Performance Plan reports. Communicate with members of the Enforcement staff and other offices in the Bureau to ensure accurate and timely submissions of relevant documents and collaborates to reconcile differences.
  • Manage the outgoing clearance and other review processes for the Office of Enforcement. Receive documents and other materials from within the Office of Enforcement, ensures completeness, and routes to appropriate personnel throughout the Bureau for review, in accordance with Bureau and Enforcement procedures. Resolve differences over clearance documents. Communicate and coordinate with other Bureau offices for clearance purposes, including Office of the Director. Track clearance submissions and progress of documents that are in the clearance process and ensures that Enforcement systems reflect this progress.

At that time, you may be eligible to request to continue to telework on a routine or situational basis in accordance with the Bureau's telework policy.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience For the CN-60, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-53 grade level in the Federal service. (For qualification purposes, the CN-53 is broadly equivalent to the GS-13).Specialized Experience for this position includes:
  • Developing performance metrics to conduct assessments of program performance or related issues for office wide programs; AND
  • Developing office wide programs and policies; AND
  • Preparing written documents such as reports, memoranda, fact sheets, issue papers and letters.
Specialized Experience For the CN-53, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-52 grade level in the Federal service. (For qualification purposes, the CN-52 is broadly equivalent to the GS-12).Specialized Experience for this position includes:
  • Conducting assessments of program performance or related issues for office wide programs; AND
  • Participating in the development of office wide programs and policies; AND
  • Assisting in the preparation of written documents such as reports, memoranda, fact sheets, issue papers and letters.

Salary may be set from the minimum of the salary range to the midpoint of the salary range. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
