Duties

Help
  • Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility.
  • Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.
  • Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate.
  • Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Must possess the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service.
  • Required to complete a standard physical /health assessment prior to or within 30 days of hire.
  • Must be willing to work an occasional rotating shift to include weekend and/or holiday shift as needed based on mission needs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Must currently possess or be willing to obtain AED, CPR and First Aid trainings after Entrance on Duty.

Must possess related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above. Such duties could include: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery; assisting in setting up for events; etc.
