Duties

Help
  • Assigns, directs, and evaluates the work of subordinate employees and holds them accountable for performance of assigned work.
  • Completes performance appraisals, approves leave and takes appropriate disciplinary action.
  • Advises management of unresolved or anticipated problems and assist in developing policies and procedures for more effective operation.
  • Prepares contracts for private functions, using established costs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned .

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Medical Examination is required.
  • Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shift to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification (i.e. ServSafe) acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.

Qualifications

One (1) year of work experience related to the duties in catering operations; OR
Four (4) years of education above high school directly related to the duties in catering operations; OR
Specialized training directly related to the duties in catering operations.

The candidate must also possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
