Duties

Help

Maintains computerized Time Management Data, submits time cards. Uses computerized Food TRAK and Security Agency Information to enter monthly inventories, process invoices, adjust menu and food prices, and create cost cards. Compiles and maintains stock record accounts, purchase orders, work orders and other financial data. Responsible for preparing daily activity reports and submitting to NAF Accounting Office utilizing Security Agency Information, as well as creating purchase requests and completing receiving reports utilizing Internet Based Purchasing System. Uses computerized Aloha Point of Sale (POS) System to run sales and product mix reports, and update menu prices. Member Planet application to update member's information or profile, SAIS to process incoming merchandise, process receiving reports, and other daily/weekly and monthly functions. Using word processing software, types a variety of material, including forms, correspondence, statistical and financial data directly into final format. Reviews outgoing correspondence for correct format, spelling, grammar, etc. Compiles correspondence from brief verbal or written instructions. Provides customer service including answering patron and visitor questions on facility and usage, special programs and events. Operates a cash register and performs cash handling duties when needed. Creates and maintains official files IAW established procedures. Operates a government vehicle to pick up supplies and to travel for Bay Breeze Events Center needs. Works under the supervision of the Club Business Manager. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:

Must have experience in clerical or office work which has provided knowledge of office automation software, correspondence, formats, grammar, and spelling. Must be a qualified typist. Position is a Position of Trust. Must be able to satisfactory complete a National Agency Check (NACI). This is a drug testing designated position. Must obtain and/or maintain a state driver's license. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

  • According to Executive Order 14043, "Guidance on Applying Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination Requirements to New Hires": New Department of the Air Force civilian employees must be fully vaccinated by their entry on duty (start) date or November 22, 2021, whichever is later. If a new hire intends to request a medical or religious exemption, the start date will be delayed until the exemption process is complete and applicant is either approved for an exemption, or becomes fully vaccinated.
  • Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
