Summary
This position is located in the Business Operations Division of the Presidio of Monterey, California.

Works with staff, clients, and operating and support elements to sell and manage the business of providing functions and events for Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) business operation in support of command directives and guidance.
Reviews all processes and develops detailed process improvement plans and actions to increase the effectiveness and productivity of the full range of catering and event activities.
Performs a review of all functions for coordination and integration of the delivery of service across the organization.
Develops research methodologies for tracking target markets for current and future business opportunities; reviews customer feedback and performs analysis and identification of actions to demonstrate continuous customer service improvement.
Performs the full range of supervisory duties over assigned facilities and staff.

Qualifications
Your experience in meeting the qualifications below MUST be clearly documented in your resume.
1. Progressively responsible management experience in food and beverage, catering and special events.
2. Must be well organized with an attention to detail.
3. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
4. Must have well developed computer, organization, time management, prioritization and writing abilities, with an aptitude for learning new skills.
5. Must have demonstrated knowledge of PC computer programs including Microsoft Operating System, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired is a knowledge and experience with property and institutional management systems (for example Sales and Catering Systems).
