Duties

  • You will serve as a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst for NRL Navy ERP BI and Reporting to demonstrate expert experience in the creation of SAP Webi Reports and basic SQL queries along with an in-depth understanding of BI development processes.
  • You will utilize BI tools such as, but not limited to, SAP Business Objects (BOBJ), SAP Web Intelligence (Webi), Information Design Tool, and create universes and Data Foundations.
  • You will work closely with Navy ERP and NRL functional subject matter experts to create ad-hoc queries and standard reports to benefit the NRL mission.
  • You will perform requirements gathering, analysis and support other reporting activities as required, respond to inquiries, troubleshoot and resolve issues and other duties as required.

  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of 1 experience at the NO-02 or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Gaining working knowledge of SAP Web Intelligence (Webi) for report creation; (2) Formulating working knowledge of basic Structured Query Language (SQL); (3) Implementing working knowledge of BI development tools to design, develop and deploy metrics, reporting solutions, and dashboards in support of the Navy ERP business system; (4) Producing extensive knowledge of SAP/Navy ERP data extracts, tables, and data elements[; and (5) Maintaining effective and productive working relationships and communications with personnel at all levels.

This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. If approved for full time telework, the selectee's duty location would reflect the alternate work site and locality pay would be set based on the alternate work site.
