Duties

Help
  • Provide leadership and supervision for the planning, direction, guidance, and oversight of the NCI?s cloud services programs.
  • Ensure the overall security and availability of the NCI?s cloud resources.
  • Consult with staff and developers on appropriate application of cloud services for the NCI.
  • Serve as a subject-matter-expert for the NCI?s cloud services by outlining cloud platform strategies, formulating architecture, establishing governance, selecting providers, and facilitating adoption.

Qualifications

To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must meet the minimum education requirement and specialized experience listed below.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
(a) Bachelor's degree in computer science.
OR
(b) Bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science.At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.

AND

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: leading cloud services and cybersecurity functions; ensuring security and availability of cloud resources; selecting and applying appropriate cloud services; consulting and advising on the use of managed cloud environments and associated cloud services.
