Duties

Help
  • Leads Food and Beverage attendants in the preparation of fast food. Works with supervisors, setting pace, demonstrating proper work methods, conducting on-the-job training, and communicating work assignments to the workers being lead.
  • Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons, and makes change as necessary . Maintains related cash records. Keeps work area clean and orderly
  • Bakes various items, sets up coffee makers, counter and display cases with condiments and baked goods. Prepares specialty hot and cold drinks. Assures that tables/work surfaces are promptly cleared and cleaned.
  • Sets up food service counters and steam tables with hot and cold food and beverage. Prepares fruit and vegetable salads, portions out food. Checks food during cooking. Unloads trucks and places contents in proper storage and use areas.
  • Cleans floors, walls and windows in kitchen, dining and storage areas. Coordinates food and beverage needs for special events conducted at off-premise locations. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15j(1).
  • If selected, a completed and signed copy of our job application form (DA Form 3433) is required prior to entrance on duty
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position
  • Must be able to work during the hours of operation to include nights and weekends.
  • Direct Deposit of pay and Social Security Card are required
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
  • Must meet meet state/local age requirements (21) for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment
  • Pursuant to EO 14043, all Federal employees, regardless of duty location or work arrangement, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by November 22, 2021, or before entrance on duty if after November 22, subject to exceptions as required by law.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are:
Experience or training that indicates sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position consistent with acceptable practices of the trade.
1. Ability to lead other employees.
2. Work practices (keeping things neat, clean, and in order) .
3. Technical practices (basic food preparation and handling techniques) .
4. Possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change.
5. Able to communicate effectively in English.
6. Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
7. Knowledge of materials and basic sanitation principles.
8. Ability to use and maintains appliances, coffee makers, ovens, stoves and other common kitchen equipment and utensils.
