Duties

Help
  • You will be, under the direction of an Engineer or higher grade Engineering Technician, developing or modifying existing technical documents supporting projects related to mechanical, electrical, electronic, or structural engineering.
  • You will assist with job summaries, component unit identifiers, component unit phases, production work documents, and task group instructions required to accomplish overhaul and repair of engineering systems.
  • You will assist with identifying the required processes, facilities, trade involvement, specialized equipment, and material necessary for work accomplishment.
  • You will develop detailed correspondence, technical reports, estimates, fact sheets, status reports, forecasts, and schedules as required to complete project assignments.

  • You will be required to successfully complete a physical examination.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • Must successfully pass a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph on a random basis not to exceed every 5 years in the performance of the position.
  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
