Duties

Help
  • Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis.
  • Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance.
  • Serves as a recreation assistant in support of recreational activities applying a practical knowledge of recreational activities and skills in the use of recreation materials, and facilities.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, chapter 2-16, to include a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications;
1. Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.

Highly Preferred: Candidates that possess highly preferred criteria and meet the minimum qualifications above will be referred to the hiring manager first. Criteria is verified within the application package.

1. Possess experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
2. Possess experience with event planning.
3. Possess experience with RecTrac.

Education

If qualifying based on education, transcripts must be uploaded at the time of application for verification purposes.

  • The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is defined as local commuting area. (Fort Greely and surrounding communities within 150 miles of the installation).
