Independently designs and carries out a variety of projects and communications strategies to enhance the dissemination of information and increase the understanding of the OCO and CSR missions and the accomplishments of the CSR.
Develops strategies, implementation plans, activities, directions, and evaluations to promote interaction, cooperation, and understanding between the CSR, NIH ICs, other federal agencies, and prevention research stakeholders.
Informs CSR Senior leadership about potentially sensitive issues provides advice regarding new policies and procedures and responds to requests for information.
Write, edit, and review original materials for factual content, communications effectiveness, and compliance with communication goals.
Preparing and implementing a comprehensive communications plan which includes press releases, articles, website development and maintenance, and other materials that explain and promote CSR and its activities
Analyzes, evaluate, and provides advice in assessing CSR performance concerning the established goals and serves as a focal point for all communications matters dealing with the Office.
