Duties

Help
  • Responsible for shelving items and pulling items for holds.
  • Responsible for shelf reading, ensuring items in proper place on the shelves.
  • Assigned tasks as needed.
  • Responsible for working at the Circulation Desk to include checking items in and out, making computer reservations and clearing soldiers.
  • Displays excellent customer service skills.

  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2
  • Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • A schedule that includes nights and weekends is required.
  • Pursuant to EO 14043, all Federal employees, regardless of duty location or work arrangement, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by November 22, 2021, or before entrance on duty if after November 22, subject to exceptions as required by law.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade
Or
Two years of education above high school
Or
A combination of specialized experience and education that equates to 100% of the qualification requirements.

Best Qualified:
1. One year working in a library setting
2. Previous experience planning and executing library programming.
