Performing development activity related to all EDA programs, advises application and grantees, establishes planning coordinating activities and implementation of projects in area.
Analyzing and communicating sound and authoritative recommendations on highly complex and sensitive economic development business/industry issues.
Representing the agency to key government and business officials and organizations plans and manages delivery of major, highly products and services which are central to agency objectives.

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized experience requirements as noted below.
Specialized Experience: GS-13: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government, performing all of the following duties:
Applying qualitative and/or quantitative evaluative methods, techniques, and administrative laws, policies, and regulations;
Analyzing investment project proposals;
Developing the scope of project plans to isolate complicated issues and problems; and,
Engaging in economic development activities while employed by a local, state, and/or regional economic development organization.
